Welcome to Ms. Morley’s Musikgarten of Grapevine
Bond with your child & delight in the joy and creativity of music. Musikgarten is joyful, with dancing, moving to the beat, singing and instruments. Children are naturally interested in music, and music is naturally good for children.

I discovered Ms Morley”s Musikgarten through an Amazon Local deal when my daughter was 1 year old. I decided to take Lila for a free class so I could check out the class for in the future. I remember calling my husband and telling him we had signed up for the semester because that first class and the teacher were nothing short of AMAZING. It was evident to me that Ms. Morley had 2 passions: music and children. I’ve always known the importance of music in all aspects of child developmment. Musical experiences in childhood can actually accelerate brain development. I have loved watching how the curriculum of Musikgarten has helped Lila use her body and mind together. The movements and dancing in class help build motor skills while allowing her to practice self-expression. What I didn’t know was how much joy my daughter and I would get from the class. I am so thankful for the wonderful talent of Ms Morley. Each semester continues to build upon skills and increases my daughter’s love for music. I can’t wait to begin this semester with my son. I encourage you to come check out her classes. You will experience joy! ~ Jennifer Gibson

Why Parents Love Musikgarten!

Music is a language, and children are oriented toward learning language.

At Musikgarten of Grapevine, we understand that music evokes movement, and children delight in and require movement for their development and growth.

Music engages the brain while stimulating neural pathways associated with such higher forms of intelligence as abstract thinking, empathy, and mathematics.

Music’s melodic and rhythmic patterns provide exercise for the brain and help develop memory. Who among us learned the ABC’s without the ABC song?

Music is an aural art and young children are aural learners. Since ears are fully mature before birth, infants begin learning from the sounds of their environment before birth.

Music is perfectly designed for training children’s listening skills. Good listening skills and school achievement go hand in hand.

Developmentally appropriate music activities involve the whole child-the child’s desire for language, the body’s urge to move, the brain’s attention to patterns, the ear’s lead in initiating communication, the voice’s response to sounds, as well as the eye-hand coordination associated with playing musical instruments.

Music is a creative experience which involves expression of feelings. Children often do not have the words to express themselves and need positive ways to release their emotions.

Music transmits culture and is an avenue by which beloved songs, rhymes, and dances can be passed down from one generation to another.

Music is a social activity which involves family and community participation. Children love to sing and dance at home, school, and at church.

We at Musikgarten of Grapevine are pleased that you stopped by and sincerely hope that you will consider enrolling your child in what could be one of the most enjoyable and instructive educational curriculums your child could be involved with. The foundation you help them build here will serve them for the rest of their lives.
